Errata and Addenda

 

Check this page regularly for errata and post-publication updates approved by Senate after print production of the 2005-2006 Undergraduate Calendar and which have been made to the Web edition.

Academic Year

In the Academic Year section, The dates listed for the deferred final examinations for the fall/winter session was incorrected listed as June 8-20, under the winter term only. This date has been corrected to read June 15-27. It is correctly listed under the Summer term as June 15-27. (Correction posted May 25, 2006)

First Year Seminars

The FYSM course list is updated to remove references to FYSM 1700 and FYSM 1605, which are no longer offered (Correction posted June 13, 2005).

Industrial Design - Academic Regulations of the University

In Section 7.5 of the Academic Regulations of the University, the list of core courses in the Bachelor of Industrial Design Section has been updated to reflect course changes. IDES 3301 and IDES 4300 have been removed, and IDES 3302 and IDES 4310 have been added. (Update posted June 13, 2005)

In Section 6.10.2 of the Academic Regulations of the University, the list of Industrial Design courses prohibited for credit in certain degree programs has been updated to reflect course changes. IDES 3301 and IDES 4300 have been removed, and IDES 3302 and IDES 4310 have been added. (Update posted June 13, 2005)

Information Technology

The course descriptions for BIT 1000, BIT 2001, IMD 1003, IMD 1004, IMD 1005, IMD 2000, IMD 2001, IMD 2004, IMD 2900, IMD 3003, IMD 3900, IMD 3901, IMD 4900, NET 3900, NET 3901 have been revised to reflect post-publication Senate-approved changes (Update posted June 13, 2005).

Journalism

Special topics are announced for JOUR 4100 and JOUR 4101. (Update posted June 24, 2005)

Mass Communication

Special topics have been announced for MCOM 4100, MCOM 4102, MCOM 4103, MCOM 4104, MCOM 4100, MCOM 4106, MCOM 4107, MCOM 4108, MCOM 4109 (Update posted June 13, 2005).

The Special Topic for MCOM 4106 has been changed to "The Internet and Information Society." (Update posted June 24, 2005)

Mathematics

The breadth requirement in all Mathematics and Statistics programs (except double and most combined honours) has been reworded (Update posted August 23, 2005).

Special students - Academic Regulations of the University

The Academic Regulations of the University have been updated in section 7.3 and section 9.1 to reflect a post-publication Senate-approved change to regulations governing academic performance evaulation for Special students (Update posted October 11, 2005)
