This section presents the requirements for:

Graduation Requirements

In addition to the requirements listed below, students must satisfy the University regulations, including:

  1. the process of Academic Performance Evaluation (see the Academic Regulations of the University section of this Calendar).
  2. the common regulations applying to all B.I.T. students (see the Academic Regulations and Requirements for the Bachelor of Information Technology Degree).

Students should consult the School when planning their program and selecting courses.

Academic Standing in B.I.T.

Students in the BIT are subject to the process of Academic Performance Evaluation as specified for General programs of 20 credits.

In addition, Good Standing in the IMD program requires a Core CGPA of at least 4.5 in the core constituted as:

IMD 1000, IMD 1001, IMD 1002, IMD 1003, IMD 1004, IMD 1005

  1. 3.0 credits in IMD 1000, IMD 1001, IMD 1002, IMD 1003, IMD 1004, IMD 1005;
  2. 3.5 credits in IMD 2000, IMD 2001, IMD 2002, IMD 2003, IMD 2004, IMD 2900 [1.0];
  3. 4.0 credits in IMD 3000, IMD 3001, IMD 3002, IMD 3004, IMD 3900 [1.0], IMD 3901 [1.0];
  4. 4.0 credits in IMD 4000, IMD 4001, IMD 4900 [1.5], IMD 4901 [1.5];

B. Credits Not Included in the Major CGPA (5.5 credits):

  1. 1.5 credits in BIT 1100, BIT 1101, BIT 1002;
  2. 1.5 credits in BIT 2100, BIT 2001, BIT 2002;
  3. 1.0 credit in BIT 1004 and BIT 1005;
  4. 1.5 credits in Arts and Humanities Electives for IMD.

A. Credits Included in the Major CGPA (9.0 credits):

  1. 2.5 credits in NET 1000, NET 1002, NET 1005, BIT 1000, BIT 1002;
  2. 2.0 credits in NET 2000, NET 2001, NET 2005, NET 2006;
  3. 2.0 credits in NET 3000, NET 3001, NET 3900 [1.0];
  4. 2.5 credits in NET 4002, NET 4005, NET 4006, NET 4007, NET 4900.

B. Credits Not Included in the Major CGPA (11.0 credits):

  1. 2.5 credits in NET 1001, NET 1003, NET 1004, BIT 1001, BIT 1003;
  2. 2.5 credits in NET 2002, NET 2007, BIT 2000, BIT 2001, BIT 2002;
  3. 3.0 credits in NET 3002, NET 3003, NET 3004, NET 3005, NET 3006, NET 3007;
  4. 2.0 credits in NET 4000, NET 4001, NET 4003, NET 4004;
  5. 1.0 credit in Arts and Humanities Electives for NET.
