Sujet pour 2007-2008 : Français populaire canadien: formes et usages. Ce cours vise à permettre une meilleure connaissance du français populaire parlé au Canada, à partir de sa variété la plus connue: le français québécois basilectal, improprement nommé “joual”. Étude de ses formes et usages, au plan phonétique, morphologique, syntaxique. Comparaisons avec le français standard.
Prerequisite: permission of the Department.
