Physics for Information Technology I
A calculus-based course covering mechanics, including oscillatory motion; electrostatics and DC circuits. The laboratory is an essential and autonomous part of the course.
Precludes additional credit for
PHYS 1007.
Prerequisites: Ontario Grade 12 Mathematics: Advanced functions and Introductory Calculus, or an OAC in Calculus or
BIT 1100.
Restricted to students in the B.I.T. degree program.
Lectures three hours a week, laboratory /tutorial three hours a week.
