Academic Regulations and Requirements for the
Bachelor of Industrial Design
The regulations presented in this section apply to all students in the Bachelor of Industrial Design program.
In addition to the requirements presented here, students must satisfy the
University regulations common to all undergraduate students including the process
of Academic Performance Evaluation (consult the Academic
Regulations and Requirements of the University section of this Calendar).
Year Status and General Prerequisites
In the Bachelor of Industrial Design degree program, year status is defined
as follows:
1st year: Admission to the program.
2nd year: Successful completion of IDES 1001, IDES 1301 and must
not be deficient in any more than one of the other first year courses.
3rd year: Successful completion of of IDES 2203, IDES 2302 and all
first and second year course requirements.
4th year: Successful completion of IDES 3301 and all third year course
requirements.
