Virtual Ventures is a non-profit organization run by students in the Faculty of Engineering and Design
at Carleton University
who want to make a difference in the lives of youth. Virtual Ventures offers nationally recognized technology and engineering programs for youth who have completed Grade 1-10.
Programs run through Virtual Ventures include summer camp, fall and winter clubs, a school outreach program, and Girl Guide and Pathfinder’s STEM badge days. Virtual Ventures provides the youth of Ottawa with stimulating experiences in all aspects of computers, information technology, engineering, and science. Virtual Ventures marks its 20th year of operation in 2014.
In 2012, Virtual Ventures won the Actua GE Canada Award for Leadership and Innovation
