SIGNALS Banquet 2009 – Featuring Dr. Robert Paehlke
SIGNALS is pleased to invite you to the 7th Annual SIGNALS banquet on Friday, January 23rd, 2009 from 6-10pm at the Hotel Novotel in Ottawa. We have an exciting speaker and a new downtown venue – so this year promises to be a memorable evening!
Our keynote speaker is Dr. Robert Paehlke, public policy and environmental politics expert from Trent University and author of the recently released book “Some Like it Cold: The Politics of Climate Change in Canada”. His speech, “Frozen Parliament, Melting Arctic: The Politics of Climate Change,” promises to be an insightful and timely examination of the impact of politics on the adoption of progressive climate change policies in Canada. His speech will be accompanied by a three-course dinner created by the Hotel Novotel’s executive chef and of course the company of good friends and colleagues.
Tickets will be sold until January 20th with early bird prices available until January 15th – but space is limited, so buy your tickets early! For complete banquet details including instructions on how to purchase tickets, please see our banquet invitation.
