Wolf Island is a beautiful place to visit as there are wonderful beaches and terrific scenery.  There also happens to be a large wind farm on the island.   A tour that is normally offered to visitors is being modified for you.  Normally you would be taken around the island and a history of the wind farm would be told as well as some historical facts about the island and Kingston. The tour that you will take will have some of those aspects, but you will also be going to the Operations Centre for the Wind Farm and you will be speaking to people who deal with the building and maintenance of the Wind Turbines on a daily basis.

This trip is being offered to the students in the MA Sustainable Energy program.  If  there are spaces available, we will open up registration to MAPA students.  Registration opens for MAPA ISE concentration students on Thursday, September 22nd.  All other MAPA students that are interested can sign up as of Monday, September 26th.
