SPPA Instructor Richard Paton publishes text book on “The Policitics of Management: Thinking Like a Manager”

Richard Paton M.A. M.P.A. who is has been teaching a course titled the Politics of Management as a sessional lecturer for 25 years published the text book for the course this August. The book is titled The Politics of Management: Thinking Like a Manager.”  It is focused on helping students assess complex management situations they face in government and non profit organizations and determine how to be effective in these work environments- especially in becoming first time managers.
