SPPA Employment Opportunities – Assistant Professor in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership

Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership, at the rank of Assistant Professor, in the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton University, effective July 1, 2014 with possible starting date of April 15, 2014.

Closing Deadline:  November 1, 2013

SPPA faculty will be attending the ARNOVA conference, November 21-23, and available to meet with potential candidates for a shortlist.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline and a demonstrated promise of excellence in research. The successful candidate would teach required and elective courses in the School’s Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership (www.carleton.ca/mpnl) and have an active research agenda in this field. The ability to teach in other areas of public management and public policy in the Master of Arts in Public Administration is desirable.
