We require a Bilingual Researcher with the following qualifications:
- Experience using qualitative and/or quantitative applied social research techniques
- A graduate university degree in the social sciences or a related field
- Fluency in English and French with superior oral and written communication skills in both languages, including ability to conduct senior level interviews and review technical documents in both languages
- Experience in program evaluation and/or performance measurement would be an asset
- Knowledge of survey research, as well as qualitative data collection techniques
- Superior interpersonal and analytical skills
- A minimum of two to five years of relevant work experience
- An interest in government and public policy
- Strong commitment to client service
This position involves active contribution to all phases of applied social research and evaluation, from proposal preparation to design, fieldwork, analysis and reporting with varying degrees of client interaction and opportunities for project management.
The salary range is $45,000 to $75,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package with strong opportunities for advancement. This position is located in Ottawa.
