Harnessing the Power of Social Finance: Report featuring 3ci concept

On Monday, May 6, at the Women in Leadership Foundation’s inaugural Women in Social Business Forum, the  Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development, released “Harnessing the Power of Social Finance,” a report on the inaugural Call for Concepts for Social Finance launched last November at the Social Finance Forum in Toronto which precipitated over 150 responses for concepts in the social finance field. 3ci submitted a proposal for a Canadian Impact Infrastructure Exchange, describing a proposed method of building capacity for large-scale public/private investment, which was highlighted in the Executive Summary and on page 24 of the report.
