Advocacy Campaign Strategist – Job Opportunity
Currently seeking a highly motivated, get-things-done-self-starter to build, nurture and mobilize Engineers Without Borders’s cross-Canada grassroots network to take action on core advocacy campaigns.
EWB’s advocacy team is responsible for leading the organization’s high-level influence goals, executing on strategies that press governments and institutions to adopt policies and practices that will accelerate sustainable, inclusive global development.
EWB is looking for a Campaigns Strategist to play a critical role in delivering effecting advocacy campaigns. The role will include two primary areas of responsibility: 1) to build, nurture and activate EWB’s advocacy network across Canada to take action at a local level around core EWB campaigns; 2) to help raise awareness of EWB’s advocacy issues and initiatives through the execution of creative programming at a local level and implementation of national campaigns on the ground. Overall, this role is about delivering success at a grassroots level for EWB’s core campaigns.
