The ACPA Organizing Committee is very pleased to announce the program for the 2013 Conference. Highlights include:

  • Keynote addresses by Sir John Elvidge, Former Permanent Secretary to the Scottish Government and David Darrow, Deputy Minister to the Premier in Nova Scotia
  • Four issue streams: Energy, Trade, the Atlantic Workforce Partnership and Infrastructure
  • Two workshops: Public and Stakeholder Consultation (Instructors: Grant MacDonald and Tyler Knowlton), and Alternative Service Delivery for Municipalities (Instructors: Mark Gilbert and Brian Smith)
  • Speakers and panellists from all three levels of government including: Richard McLellan, Manager, HRM Energy and Environment; Sandra McKenzie, Deputy Minister, Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education; Michel Têtu, Director General,
    Trade and Investment, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency
  • Group Discussions on Best Practices and Opportunities for Atlantic Cooperation
