The Canadian Journal of Globalisation – Call for Papers

Call for Submissions – deadline January 31, 2013

Published annually, Glob.Idealisation – The Canadian Journal of Globalization, a bilingual graduate student Journal founded on the idea of exploring the vast implications of globalization, values above all an open-minded and pluridisciplinary approach to local and global issues.  Embalming a careful balance between the freedom of expression and respect for others, the Journal strives to render exceptional works of graduate students from across the country as widely accessible as possible, through the dissemination of such knowledge in various formats (physical and electronic) absolutely free of charge, no matter the context.

Eligible submissions include traditional essays in French or English of between 2000 and 5000 words, written by one or more graduate students studying at a Canadian university.  Students from all disciplines of study may submit a paper on any topic related to Globalization, although this year our journal will focus on the following four themes:

  1. Economic Development;
  2. Environmental Sustainability;
  3. Politics, Power, and Social Movements;
  4. Gender, Society, and Culture

All submissions must be in MLA referencing format.

The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2012.  Publication is planned for summer 2013.

To submit a paper, or for more information, please contact the Editor-in-chief, Jessica Doyle, at CJOG.chiefeditor@gmail.com.
