The 1st official MAPA Movember event a tremendous success!
When we first set out to make Movember an official MAPA event we had ambitions to double the $795 in donations we received the previous year. With a final tally of $5522 in donations this year we were simply stunned with the level of support we received. A large number of professors and students grew their mustaches with pride, ignoring pleas from their partners to “shave that ridiculous thing off your face”. Even more of you attended events and donated cash to benefit this very worthy cause.
We are beyond proud to be part of the SPPA community. Professors, administrators, and our fellow students all deserve credit for ensuring that our school remains top of the heap not only in terms of academics, but also in fostering a sense of community both inside and outside the classroom.
Thanks to everyone involved in making the first official MAPA Movember event a tremendous success. Our hope is that future MAPA executives capitalize on the tremendous generosity of the SPPA community and beat our current donation record.
