Policy Brief and Climate Conference event Addressing Low-Carbon Energy Technologies
Alexandra Mallett, Assistant professor, SPPA, and colleagues from Sussex Energy Group, SPRU – Science and Technology Policy Research, at the University of Sussex, and the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research just released a policy brief entitled Low Carbon Technology Transfer: Lessons from India and China.
Drawing on case study research in China and India, the brief reviews experiences with a number of low carbon energy technologies including LED lighting, solar PV and more efficient coal-fired power plants to identify key lessons for advancing technology transfer, an essential facet of global action to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.
