M.L. Catherine MacNeil - Instructor III (ESL for Academic Purposes)

M. L. Catherine MacNeil is an Instructor in the School of Linguistics and Language Studies (SLaLS) with more than 20 years experience in the first-year classroom. She has taught at all levels in SLaLS’ Intensive and Credit English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Programs and served as Coordinator of the Credit EAP Program for ten years. She has also taught courses in the Faculty of Arts and Social Science First Year Seminar (FYS) and Arts One Programs and been a regular presenter at Carleton and across Canada at workshops and conferences focusing on first-year teaching and learning.
