To help you choose courses each year, we suggest the following program paths:

The BA Honours in Applied Linguistics & Discourse Studies can be combined with a BA Honours in a variety of disciplines such as Canadian Studies, English, French, History, Sociology, etc. When completing a combined Honours, you must meet the requirements of both disciplines. For illustration purposes, a possible program path is suggested for a combined honours in Applied Linguistics & Discourse Studies and French.

Note: You must take at least 5 credits not in FREN and at least 7 credits not in ALDS. You can concurrently complete the CTESL (with special ALDS course requirements) or a minor (4 credits) in linguistics or in another language or discipline.
