Oct. 30, 2014 – For immediate release
On October 27, 2014, the Campus Safety Services received a report of the theft of a laptop from the third floor study area in the MacOdrum Library.
An individual who was using the third level study space had left their laptop unattended momentarily. Upon returning to the study space it was noted that the laptop and charger were missing. The theft is believed to have occurred at approximately 3 p.m.
The Campus Safety Services reminds all staff and students not to leave any valuables unattended for any period of time.
The investigation is on-going and a copy of the report was forwarded to the Ottawa Police Service.
