Spend a Summer, a Semester, or a Year Abroad

Religion students may study abroad either through an exchange offered by Carleton’s International Student Services Office, or by enrolling in RELI 3850 Topics in the Study of Religion Abroad.

Carleton’s International Student Services Office (ISSO) offers a full range of exchange programs

Students can spend one or two semesters studying abroad on an exchange through Carleton’s International Student Services Office, normally transferring their credits back into their Carleton Religion degree.

The International Student Services Office administers the Student Exchange Program, which provides Carleton undergraduate and graduate students with an opportunity to go abroad for a fall term, winter term, or full year (fall and winter terms).

Students interested in participating in the exchange program are encouraged to attend any one of our information sessions offered from October to December. They will all be offered virtually on Microsoft Teams and students are asked to register on the ISSO Events page.

More details about the Student Exchange Program is available online at carleton.ca/myexchange/.
