Special Students

Carleton University offers non-degree studies. Special Students are those who have not been admitted to a degree program but who are taking courses to qualify for admission, to improve professional qualifications, for transfer credit, or for personal interest.

• Interested in online learning at Carleton University? Our history of offering distance courses has led to a large variety of university credit courses being offered online and allowing students to study at Carleton from a distance.

• Anyone interested in pursuing learning opportunities is eligible to apply as a Special Student.
