Parking Services and the Sustainability Carleton team encourage employees and students to explore commuting alternatives such as walking, cycling, public transit, ride sharing, carpooling, or permit sharing.
Ottawa Ride Match – Carpooling
Permit Sharing – if two or more employees/students wish to share the cost of one permit, all participant vehicles may be listed on one parking profile. Carpoolers may split the cost of the permit through one payment. Only one listed vehicle may be parked on campus at any given time. Any supplemental vehicle would be required to pay visitor parking rates if parking for more than one listed vehicle was required simultaneously.

We do not require any physical parking permits or visitor parking payment receipts to be displayed. We verify your parking permit/payment by the license plate you have registered on your parking account or have entered into the paystation/HotSpot mobile validation.
Please note that parking fees at 355 Cooper Street (for the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre) are in affect.
