+ Metropolis Professional Development is a project of Metropolis and, as such, it’s a non-profit programme that operates on a cost-recovery basis (course fees are used to pay materials, facilities, meals, instructors and staff). In order to enable the participation of professionals from all sectors, MPD offers discounted rates to certain groups.

++ Rates include tuition fees, meals (two coffee breaks per day, six lunches and two dinners), shuttles and materials.

* See calendar section for dates.

** Following the World Bank definition, civil society organizations (CSOs) refer to: community groups, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), labor unions, indigenous groups, charitable organizations, faith-based organizations, professional associations, and foundations. To benefit from the discounted rate, applicants must submit letter from their organization including proof of registration in the country of operation. Canadian CSOs need to submit proof of  incorporation under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act.

*** Rates include full registration to the conference and side events (USD 1,000 value).
