The duality of hero and villain exists in a contested space constituted by a broader set of social relations. The Department of Law and Legal Studies invites contributions from all disciplines to explore and critique imaginaries of justice and their relation to heroes and villains.

Participants will investigate how perceptions of heroes and villains influence society and inspire conversation regarding a variety of multidisciplinary approaches of heroes and villains as they relate to an increasingly ambivalent ‘justice’.
