Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is an incredible service-learning initiative in which students travel to national and international communities to engage in service-work and learning. The program begins in November and runs until March, as students participate in pre-departures to prepare them for the experience and fundraising initiatives, which greatly off-set the cost of their trip. The trips, which this year include Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, New Orleans and Banff, all take place over Reading Week from February 14 to 22, 2015.
