Conference Keynote Speaker and Lowy Anniversary Lecturer

Uncovering the Lowy Haggadah Manuscript
7:30 p.m.

In his keynote address, Dr. Schrijver will present an illustrated lecture on the colourful and idiosyncratic illustrations of the Lowy Haggadah manuscript, and on the milieu of the scribe/artist who created it in mid-18th century Altona, Germany.  In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Jacob M. Lowy Collection at Library and Archives Canada. In partnership with the Council of the Jacob M. Lowy Collection.
