The International Student Services Office is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the Marie Odette Gabrielle Clay Memorial Award and the International House Award. The deadline to apply for both awards is Thursday February 26, 2015 at 4:00pm..
Marie Odette Gabrielle Clay Memorial Award ($1000)
Awarded annually to an international student who is proceeding from one year to another of a program and has been involved in student life.
Donor: Friends and family of Marie Odette Gabrielle Clay, B.A. 1988. Endowed 2000.
International House Award ($150)
Awarded to a student in his or her graduating year attending Carleton University on a student visa who, in addition to maintaining the academic levels of the degree program, has been an active participant in extracurricular activities in the University.
Donor: International House. Endowed 1972.
Application instructions and Criteria for each award:
- Submit a 1 page single spaced (or 2 pages double spaced) letter and copy of your resume in support of your application.
- Your letter should specify the award you are applying for and should highlight your suitability for that award in accordance with the criteria.
- Submit your application in person at the ISSO in Room 128 on the first floor of the University Centre or via email to isso@carleton.ca.
