Kirkus, a book review magazine, has released a glowing review of “Riveted: The Science of Why Jokes Make Us Laugh, Movies Make Us Cry, and Religion Makes Us Feel One with the Universe,” which comes out August 1. The author is Jim Davies, associate professor at Carleton University’s Institute of Cognitive Science.
