Ida Toivonen (Carleton ICS and SLaLS) presented two papers at a the Nordic Conference of Dialectology last month. She presented her research on the apocope of infinitival endings in the Åland dialect. She also presented a paper on joint research with Eva Sundberg on the rich variety of lateral consonants in the Åland dialect.
