The Department of History will host “Thinking about Thalidomide in Transnational Perspective” on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. The one-day conference focuses on the impact of thalidomide in Canada and Africa. The event will be held in the History Lounge, 433 Paterson Hall.

The welcoming remarks begin at 10:00 AM, and will be followed by two speakers, Alexandra Niblock, from 10:30-12:00 noon, and Julie Parle, from 1:00-2:30 PM.
