Carleton graduate, Madelaine Morrison, will be giving the Ottawa Historical Association talk on October 21, 2014 at the Royal Oak, 221 Echo Drive (on the canal) at 7 PM. Her talk, “Sweetest Sounds: Musical Life in Ontario, 1880-1920,” is drawn from her recently defended thesis. The lecture is free and all are welcome.
