Biography

I am a physical geographer by training and I still retain interests in that field. My current teaching is in the area of Geographic Information Systems, although I have taught courses in physical geography and statistics. My interests in the GIS area are in geomatics education (at the K-12 level and university levels), spatial analysis, application development and programming within a GIS environment. Currently I am working in open-source programming and its interface with GIS.
