Carleton Community Celebration Event

Carleton hosted a Community Celebration event in the atrium of the new River Building on March 20, 2012, to acknowledge the community engagement initiatives of the University, and to foster the participation of faculty and students. Trish Ballamingie and Steve Prashker were both prominently mentioned by name, by Rebecca Aird, Environmental Stewardship Coordinator of the City of Ottawa, who was a panelist and speaker. Rebecca mentioned Trish’s community project involvement and Steve’s student’s project through the Practicum, as both provided assistance to these City of Ottawa’s ongoing projects.
