Awards and Financial Assistance
The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research provides various forms of funding and financial assistance to graduate students. Some of this funding is awarded upon admission to the program, while some awards are based on in-program performance or to students in mid-program who require financial assistance to complete the requirements for the degree.
For further information on the various forms of funding, visit the Awards and Funding section of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research web site, or select a topic from the list to the right.
Particularly useful to Public Affairs graduate students is the Search Awards feature, which allows you to enter specific information in seeking out which awards, both internally- and externally-administered, for which you are eligible. Many internal awards are given on the basis of unit recommendations; if you feel you are particularly suitable for a specific award, let your Graduate Supervisor know.
