FPA student represents CU at the exclusive Summit Series Conference

On April 3, 2009, Carleton University Political Science student Jessica Scorpio attended the Summit Series in Aspen, Colorado.

Summit Series is the only organization focused on building a community of young entrepreneurs that are changing the world. Summit Series was founded on the premise of bringing together CEOs, philanthropists, and entrepreneurs to affect positive change in the world. Through its invite-only retreats, Summit Series is the voice for the community of young leaders concerned about innovation for business, philanthropy and leadership.

Founder and CEO of IDEAL, a Canadian not-for-profit that connects young entrepreneurs across Canada with leaders in their field, Ms. Scorpio was one of 100 of the world’s top entrepreneurs under 35 invited to attend the exclusive, invitation-only conference.
