CACSL and Carleton Sign Agreement
The Canadian Alliance for Community Service Learning and Carleton University formalized their new relationship with the signing of a partnership agreement by CASCL Executive Director Larry Gemmel and Carleton’s Vice-President and Provost Feridun Hamdullahpur on September 29, 2008. Also present at the signing was John Cawley, Senior Program Manager of the J. W. McConnell Family Foundation, which supports the Alliance, as well as Deans George Iwama (Faculty of Science), John Shepherd (Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research) and Jerry Tomberlin (Sprott School of Business) and Associate Vice-President (Student Services) Suzanne Blanchard. CASCL Chair Todd Barr and founding Executive Director Cheryl Rose also participated in the event, which was hosted by Katherine Graham, Dean of the Faculty of Public Affairs.
