Political Science introduces new BA program in Global Politics

Starting in the Fall of 2008, Political science students at Carleton will have the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Global Politics.

Students who enter this program will have a very specific targeted opportunity to do an internship with an organization that does international work. “In the post 9/11 era, students recognize that their lives are affected more and more by global issues and dynamics and so students are looking for ways to increase their knowledge of the international system,” says Laura Macdonald, Chair of the Department of Political Science. “This program was developed to meet this demand.”
