Carleton University is proud to announce that it has joined forces with FIRST Robotics Canada and will play host to one of Canada’s premier STEM competitions for high school students beginning in 2020.
Join us this spring and be one of over 800 students, volunteers, parents and sponsors to visit Carleton for Ottawa’s inaugural FIRST Robotics Canada District Competition!
Members of the general public are also invited (and encouraged!) to attend the competition at no cost to cheer on their favourite teams and their robots! No ticket purchase or registration is required for event visitors/spectators.
District competitions comprise a series of successive events run throughout Ontario by FIRST Robotics Canada. Teams must compete in at least two district events per cycle to accumulate points, with the top 80 teams in Ontario qualifying to compete at the District (provincial) Championship. The winners of that event then go on to represent Ontario in a FIRST Championship Event!
