				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>FASS’ David Wood was one of the recipients named at the Capital Educators&#8217; Award ceremony held on May 21, 2009. Wood, an Assistant Professor in the School of Linguistics and Language Studies, was among 20 other educators who were honoured.</p>
<p>The Capital Educators’ Awards were created in the fall of 2001 by a group of business and education leaders who wanted to raise the profile of public education and recognize and celebrate the dedication and achievements of our local educators.</p>
