The Carleton University Research Centres (CURCs) report and are accountable to the Office of the Vice-President (Research and International). These centres group talents of interdisciplinary researchers; provide focal points for multi-faculty research activities; provide strong profiles in the search for research resources and the provision of services; and provide points of entry for outside agencies seeking appropriate expertise.

Exploring political and social issues through the use of social and cultural lenses of analysis.
Geomatics and Cartographic Research Centre (GCRC)
The application of geographic information processing and management to the analysis of socio-economic issues of interest to society.
Max and Tessie Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies
Encourages the growth of course offerings in Jewish Studies which deal with historical, religious, social, cultural, and political aspects of Jewish life.
