Video: Exhibition Curator Ming Tiampo on Visiting Gutai at the Guggenheim with Children

Associate professor of Art History, Ming Timapo has co-curated an exhibit at the world-renowned Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City.  The exhibit Gutai: Splendid Playground is the culmination of Tiampo’s work on a group of progressive Japanese artists whose post Second World War collective (1954-1972) heavily influenced the modernist post-war art movement in the 1960’s and 1970’sthroughout America and Europe.
