Scott Brown wins the 2013 Sheila McCallum Leadership Award

Scott Brown of the FASS Computing Support Unit has won the 2013 Sheila McCallum Leadership Award for his exceptional contributions within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Congratulations Scott!

“Knowing that your work has been acknowledged and is appreciated is a great feeling,” said Brown. “It was a bit of a shock, but I’m very honoured to have received the award. I work with a great team, and I couldn’t have won without them.”

The award promotes innovation and collaboration among FASS staff. It was established by Sheila McCallum, a long-time employee of Carleton University and someone who worked in the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences for many years.

The 2012 winner Sheila McCallum Leadership Award was multimedia technician in the School for Studies in Art and Culture, Jack Coghill.
