Fall Orientation

Thank you for an incredible Fall Orientation 2025!

Thank you to the 400+ volunteers who helped make Fall Orientation a success. Carleton welcomed over 2,000 first year students who participated in the “Best 2% of the Year” with a full year of programming.

Fall Orientation is a week of engaging programming for new students designed and hosted by the Student Experience Office in conjunction with our campus partners and student groups including CUSA, RRRA, SBSS, and SciSoc . By participating in Fall Orientation, undergraduate students will have the ability to become familiar with the Carleton community and participate in exciting activities. Fall Orientation provides for a successful transition into university and fosters new relationships among participants before the start of classes. Participants will benefit from meeting and interacting with student volunteers who can guide first-year undergraduate students in the right direction based on their experiences.

This year’s program was highlighted with an exclusive on-campus concert headlined by Elijah Woods.

Program Description and Mission

Fall Orientation provides incoming undergraduate students with the opportunity to enjoy fun activities, meet new friends, and the skills necessary to help transition to university life at Carleton University. The program focuses on helping students adapt socially, academically, and culturally to Carleton and the Ravens community.
