The Centre for European Studies (EUCE), and the Embassy of Italy, are pleased to present as part of its Current Events Series lecture,

‘The EU’s Role in the United Nations: More than the sum of its members?’ with Mr Roberto Storaci, Political Affairs and Security Council, European Union Delegation to the United Nations – New York.

The lecture will include, from a practitioner point of view of the EU Common foreign policy after the Lisbon Treaty and the creation of the European External Action Service (EEAS), a perspective of the UN representing an unique testing ground for the new EU approach and for the new EU institutions. A reception will immediately follow the lecture.

All are welcome to attend the lecture, which will be from 3:00PM – 5:00PM and the reception to follow from 5:00PM – 6:00PM. Please register with CES here.
