From January-April 2015, Dr. Emmanuel Sigalas will be at EURUS as a Centre for European Studies (CES) Visiting Scholar. Dr. Sigalas will be teaching a EURUS course titled “Social & Political Perspectives in Europe” (EURR 4003/5003 W), as well as conducting research.

 Dr. Sigalas is a lecturer at the Vienna Institute of Advanced Studies, where his current research focuses on the crisis of parliamentarism, on the European Union’s Space Policy, and on the electoral connection at the EU level.  His most recent research examines the curbing of parliamentary privileges in the aftermath of the Greek Crisis.
