EURUS professor Piotr Dutkiewicz was recently a guest on The Current, CBC radio’s flagship current affairs program.  In conversation with host Anna Maria Tremonti, Prof. Dutkiewicz discussed the recently conducted polls in Crimea which show support for Russia’s annexation of the peninsula. This provided a jumping off point for a larger discussion of the current state of international relations between Ukraine, Russia and the West. During this discussion, Prof. Dutkiewiciz outlined the potential consequences of current Western policies on relations with Russia going forward and the effect that events in Ukraine may have on domestic Canadian politics.
