UKRAINE & RUSSIA – PUTIN’S DILEMMA OF WAR & PEACE

What are the specifics driving the crisis in Ukraine, what is its significance in international relations, and how can the Canadian government’s response be interpreted? These are some of the questions EURUS professor Jeff Sahadeo will be examining as part of a panel of experts put together by the Canadian International Council‘s National Capital Branch, including Senator Raynell Andreychuk of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade; Abina Dann, a recent ambassador to Kiev; Paul Robinson, D.Phil in Modern History from the University of Oxford and former officer of the British Army Intelligence Corps.; and Robert Hage, chair of the panel, former diplomat and ambassador to Hungary and Slovenia, and senior fellow at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at uOttawa.
