READ Initiative for accessible design launches
Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to accessibility, Carleton officially launched the READ Initiative this August. READ stands for Research, Education, Accessibility and Design and true to its name, the initiative aims to identify challenges facing the disabled community and bring together engineers, architects and industrial designers to incorporate accessible solutions in their designs.
