Working
adults find it difficult to make space for learning
in their busy lives and at the same time need assurance
that what they are working on is relevant to their learning
objectives. A project-based course design appears to
meet their requirements, but also presents issues since
its unconventional structure may be initially confusing
to learners who are used to more conventional approaches.
This presentation demonstrates one approach to this
problem used at Algonquin College on both Blackboard
and WebCT learning platforms.
